After a long and painful labor, my friend Laurie had a little boy last night at 9:15pm. He was delivered by c-section after the baby was coming down face first and just did not want to come through.
Avery Blaine LaMonica is 8 lbs exactly and 20 inches long. He's got a little bit of dark hair and brown eyes. Laurie says he may look like her brother Blaine as a baby. It would be amazing if Avery looked like him because he was good looking guy.
I'm heading to the hospital this morning and will take pictures but won't be able to get them posted until I get home.
