G' Day Mate

Last night we hit Outback Steakhouse with the kids. We discovered we had $100 worth of Outback gift certificates so to Outback we go!

The kids always do well when we eat out. In fact, they're usually better behaved in restaurants because there's so much to look at. Lately we just haven't had time to take the kids out to eat so this was Jenna's first real dinner out other at family or friend's homes. And yes, I actually brought my camera for the event, although I took 2 quick pictures and that was it.

Kieran had lots and lots of bread and ate some of his steak and mashed potatoes. Jenna chowed down on one of her baby food dinners, a crouton and some of my steamed veggies. I let her try some broccoli which turned out to be a bad thing. She woke up screaming from 12:45 and finally fell asleep after 4am. She's been sleeping so well the past week so it had to be dinner. I was zonked because I had taken some Benadryl before bed for my allergies. It knocks me out. So Tripp spent a lot of time rubbing Jenna's buddah belly to help with the gas.

To make things worse our neighbor across the street (an older lady who rents a room in her home) is renting to a lady who has an obnoxious dog.(looks like a cairn terrier but black) At 6:45 this morning the dog is out barking like crazy. To top that off the other neighbor with 2 unbearably obnoxious poodles lets his dogs out and they're barking back and forth. On a SUNDAY!! I was too tired to do anything other than fume. It never bothered me as much before because Kieran used to have us up around 5-5:30 every morning. Now that he no longer naps he can sleep until 7:30. As you can imagine he was woken up at 6:45. Arrgh.
