Wow, there are so many things going on today! Happy 1st Birthdays to Fischer Wolhar and Makenzie Truban. Today is both of their big day. I can't believe they are 1 already! And Jessi Barnak has a big day too. Today she's 30. Whoo hoo!
Finally, I'm on edge today because Laurie is in the hospital being induced. I'm so excited. I feel like I'm having another baby. (minus the pain)She called me last night at 8:45 letting me know that they were on their way. Yay!
Update; I spoke with Laurie at about 7:30 this morning. Poor thing. She did not sleep a wink last night (I'm not sure why the Dr's or nurses didn't offer an Ambien or anything like that) and she is exhausted and in pain from the Cervadil. From what I heard from others the Cervadil pain is pretty sharp and totally different from labor pains. They're going to start her on Pitocin pretty soon and the'll let her get her epidural. Hopefully the epidural will help her sleep. But with all that noise and staff walking in and out I highly doubt it.
