Noel G, Michael, Kieran, Jenna and I picked up food to feed the animals. We never got past the deer. They were extremely friendly this visit. I've never known deer to be so friendly. Even better, there were 2 adoreable little babies in the field. Too cute. There was one deer in particular that I swore that I was going to take home. He approached me and I scratched his head. He LOVED it and, just like a dog does, kept moving his head to get me to scrach all over his head over and over. I was laughing so hard because I felt like I was petting a dog. I jokingly told Noel and the lady next to me that I'm bringing him home. The lady told me to tell my husband that the deer followed me home. Considering we live 40 minutes away I somehow didn't think Tripp would believe that the deer followed me down I 495. What was funny was after scratching this guy for about 5 minutes he licked my hand as if to say thanks, JUST LIKE A DOG. It was a riot! I had never seen anything like it.
Later on we fed the chickens but Jenna kept eating the bread we had bought for them. It was a really hot day so we were sweaty and I'm sure pretty smelly. It was time to head out. And what better thing to do after you've gotten all sweaty and smelly is to drop by your old work to visit your old co-workers! I promised them we'd stop by afterwords not expecting we'd be so gross. The office is moving (again) in June and they will be in Radnor, PA. That's too far for us to just stop by to visit so if I didn't go soon we'd lose our chance. It was so nice seeing the old gang. They thouroughly enjoyed seeing the kids.
