Aaah, kid fears. We're seeing a lot of them lately. Mr. Kieran is just becoming so fearful of things. I guess it's just a stage. First it's the pool/shower water and now it's his bicycle.
We had yet to get Kieran a helmet for his bike. (that the poor kid's been staring at it for over a year) I had time to kill before our Meet and Greet at his Pre School at 4pm so we hit Toys R Us to pick one up. It's really cool. It's a "Cars, The Movie" helmet. I really had high hopes that the helmet would get him excited about his bike again. Nope. He's excited about his helmet and wants to wear it all the time now but want's nothing to do with the bike. He tells us that he's scared of the bike. "It's scary, Mommy. I'm scared." I have no idea what caused that. I really am clueless.
Another oddity. Kieran has some really strange attachments. He will carry the most bizarre items around. I think today's took the cake. When I got downstairs this morning Kieran was on the couch eating breakfast and clutching an almost empty bottle of mustard. We had to hit the Pediatrician to pick up paperwork and then playgroup at Jen's so I was really hoping to lose this thing fast. Not gonna happen. He threw a fit and insisted that he bring the mustard bottle in the car with us. I was able to avoid bringing it into the Dr's office but he would not put it down on his way into Jen's. I could only imagine what was going through the playgroup Mom's heads when he walked in with a bottle of mustard.

Sadly, my first thought was: "Mmmm...I'm hungry...that looks good." :)
