The Sun The Sand and The Surf.

Tripp, the kids and I spent a wonderful weekend at the beach. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a really great time.

Jenna discovered her new favorite snack... sand. Mmmmm. I took some video on my digital camera of her chowing down. It's a riot. If I could post it here I would.

The pictures on the deck were of the family watching a big sailboat go by and two really neat kites being flown on the beach. I have no idea how they didn't show up in the picture. Crappy camera.

On Saturday Kieran started to get a little homesick. I'm not sure why. He loves being at the beach. It was 7pm and he decided he wanted to go swimming. To help ease his homesickness and his need to swim we told him we would go swimming in the "pool". Sorry for the horrific sight of me in a baithing suit.

Oh, and leave it to a 3 year old to find a new purpose for a bidet. Kieran tends to disappear and that can sometimes mean trouble. I went into my parents bathroom and there he is standing up trying to pee standing up in the bidet. It was just the right height for him. I gave him his privacy and he succeeded! I was so proud of him. Like a big boy!
