One Year Ago Today....

(below-Jenna had a little bit of a bloody nose so her big brother gave her band-aids to make her better)
our precious little Jennabear was born. Wow, I just can't get over that it was a year ago at this very moment where they started me on IV Pitocin and made me sit there in bed for almost 12 hours with no progress. (I kept telling them them the contractions were nothing much) But at 6pm when the Dr came in (and mistakingly told me she was supposed to break my water a few hours ago- Tripp and Laurie will tell you I WAS TICKED) and broke my water, it was smooth sailing from there. at 8:59 pm our "little" 9lbs 3 oz Jenna was on my belly and looking into my eyes. I remember just staring at her in awe while holding her chubby (and then cheesy) little body for the first time. Sigh. They sure do say that you forget the pain of labor when you see what a beautiful and amazing creature you've created.

I wish I had a scanner that worked properly. The hospital pictures of Jenna and Kieran are practically identical. But here are some pics of our beautiful baby girl this past year.
