I did it. I finally did it. I never ever thought before I had a daughter that I'd ever pierce my baby's ears. She will be 1 in exactly 2 weeks and I finally talked a reluctant Daddy into letting me do it. (thanks Daddy!!) I'm pretty sure Natalie M. is going to be happy about not hearing "Should I? Shouldn't I?" It's done.
She did SO well! My Mom came with us and helped not only watch Kieran but to distract Jenna. She did cry but not for long. Especially since the girl gave her a little lollypop. She'd never had one before so it was quite a distracting treat. The earrings are a little bigger than I wanted and I know I'm going to harp on that for the next 8-10 weeks. I just didn't think to take the earrings and put them up to her ear before chosing. Just bear with me everyone!
Here's a quick shot of her ear. There's still a purple dot underneath the earring so it looks kind of funny. She's been great all day so far!!

Aww Michelle she looks so cute!!! They say that it's better to do it when they are young - that it's more traumatizing when they are older. Look how cute she looks!!
hey michelle, i just realized that i could leave a comment.. hopefully it works... i love the earrings!!! she is too cute
I never tire of hearing anything you have to say! Especially since you listen to my rantings and indecisive babble all of the time!
Jenna is even more beautiful now. You and your mom are brave, brave, brave! Though, I guess this can't be much worse than teething--and that lasts so much longer!
Hi Michelle, Thanks for the website! Jenna looks very cute in this pic, especially with her "Bling".
