In the quest for sparking Kieran's interest in becoming potty trained we purchased him a potty training doll. He was so excited to receive it. He did a great job teaching the doll how to go in the potty but kept insisting that the doll wanted a diaper and not his big boy underwear. Sounds vaguely familiar. Jenna was throwing quite a tantrum because she wanted his doll. She has her own and I brought it to her but she wanted nothing to do with hers. She wanted this doll. What a temper! :-)
The whole potty training thing is just not going anywhere. I kind of feel like that saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can't get him to drink." My horse won't drink. He can. He just won't.
This week Jenna has learned how to climb down from things. She spent yesterday practicing climbing up on the couch and backing herself off of it. She really good at it too. This morning she even attempted to lower herself off of the bed. It's a pretty decent drop so I grabbed a hold of her before she fell onto the hardwood floors. Geez, when I heard I was having a girl I thought I was free from having a climber like Kieran was. She's just as bad. In fact, maybe worse in some ways.
