Today was a crazy day but a fun day. Our morning started out with a transformer on our block blowing and we lost our electric. Of course the tv, computer, dishwasher, washer and dryer were all running. I forgot to check my email to see what time playgroup was and couldn't check this morning because the electric was out. We were meeting at Coleman's Christmas Tree Farm (they have a pumpkin patch too) so we got there at 9:30. 3 huge bus loads and 3 extended vans of kids arrived and it was just chaos at the play area. We headed home in hopes that the electric was back on so I could check my email for the real playgroup meeting time. Turns out it was 11:30. Duh.
When we finally arrived back at Colemans the school kids were all still there but I guess they were off on hayrides. It gave our kids from playgroup plenty of time to play and have fun before the kids came back. Kieran must be tired today because he was very whiney. It was very unlike him. Jenna on the other hand was having a ball. It's funny, her separation anxiety is much better in groups. When she's home she's all over me.
We finally got home around 3:30 and Jenna was absolutely passed out in the car. She was so passed out that I literally opened her coat to make sure she was still breathing! Now that's the sign of a fun day. ;-)
