Foster Kittens

Last month we discovered a litter of kittens across the street on the steps of Spicer Mullikin Funeral Home. Because of their unusual pattern I knew that their mother was the little cat with 3 legs who appears on occasion. With the Funeral Home being right on busy Clinton Street and knowing that a litter that was there last summer didn't survive because they were hit by cars, I scooped these guys up and called my local rescue group, Forgotten Cats. They asked us if we could foster them until there were cages open at the Newark, DE Petsmart so we did.

The kids were wonderful with the kittens. There were 5 of them. 4 males, all shorthaired we named Austin,(or Boston as Jenna called him) Dylan, Oliver and Calvin, and 1 longhaired female we named Sofia. They were about 11 weeks old when we found them. We not only wanted to get them off the streets and into loving homes but Delaware City is filled with roaming cats...we wanted to make sure they were fixed!
