Sleepy Girl

What have we been up to these past few weeks that I have not posted? To me I feel like we've been trapped in the house for weeks although in reality we really haven't. It just seems that way. The fact is that I keep forgetting my camera when we go places. Not that what we've done is any less "blogworthy". It's just that my brain is in neutral and that seems to be the last on my list to remember to bring as we're running out the door.

So the news since the last post. Hmm. Lets see. Kieran is starting at a new school this Thursday. Yes, again. We lasted another 2 weeks there before I decided that it was really unfair to him to be petrified that certain assistants would be helping in his class. We ADORE his new teacher and have seen such an improvement in his behavior since she started. (Kieran is the type of kid who will misbehave and/or go into his shell if yelled at- the other teacher, now gone, must have been downright mean) Still, they had planned on moving him to the next level on March 1st and they just couldn't guarantee that those assistants would be there to help out. No problem. See ya.

We're sending him to a school called the Learning Express. Friends of the family who I knew from Pheasant Run (our swim team) have lived down in DE for a few years now and their kids have all gone through this school. Both my friend and her brother's wife are teachers and send their kids here. They only have positive things to say about it.

What else. Oh, Jenna is FINALLY done nursing. Yes, she was still nursing once a day right before bed. I thought it would never end. It will be over a week now and I'm thrilled to have my body back. I never imagined it would go on for this long. The day before Kieran turned 11 months old he just decided he was done and that was it. I thought it would be as easy as that with Jenna. I was wrong. It did take a few days before I realized that I can eat WHATEVER I WANT. I was SO excited. I LOVE Alaskan Crab Legs and Crabby Dicks down the street has them on the menu. I've been eyeing them for over a year! Unfortunately we called to order them on Friday and they were OUT! How dare them!!!! And Sushi. I miss Sushi! The Sushi places around here are just "ok" and none of them had Kampyo Maki, the one vegetarian sushi that I could eat. I could eat a California roll but the fake crab still makes me nervous. Hmm....if I didn't have a whole huge spiral ham left over from last night we'd be having Sushi tonight. Well, at least Tripp and I would have.

Pictures. I finally took some yesterday morning when I got home from shopping at BJ's. Tripp was watching the kids while I shopped and I came home to Jenna out like a light on Daddy, her favorite guy. Remember, this a saturday morning so everyone's not exactly dressed and showered for the day. :-)

Ahhh she looks so cute!! A wahoo...for having your body back!!! That's nice. I don't blame you for moving Kieran..there is no way he should be scared while at school that's ridiculous. ((hugs)) I am glad he likes the new school!
